Plan A Unique Wedding

When planning a wedding, it is important to make decisions based on what you and your partner want.  This might be a large traditional wedding with the flowing gown and veil.  If this is not for you, there are a lot of other options for you to choose from.

Consider locations that mean something to you and your future spouse.  This might be Fort Lauderdale because you met during spring break.  Or, it might be golf course or an airplane.  The two of you are committing to spend the rest of your live together.  This event should be very personal for both of you.

Whatever experience you go with, it will require careful planning to make it the most meaningful and memorable for both the couple and the guests.  The first step is to make a list of everything you will need.  Then whittle it back to what is possible for the budget and timeline that you have.  Creating timelines will help you decide if certain options are possible or not.  Planning unique options for your wedding is the goal but you must remain realistic and not overwhelm yourself by taking on too much.  Remember that the planning should be fun too!

A final point to remember is that your guests will remember the unique ways that your wedding reflected who you and you future spouse are and your love for one another.  Extravagant displays, no matter how beautiful, will not leave a lasting impression if they are not connected with the personality of the bride and groom.

Have fun and let your personality shine through in the details.  Choose wedding favors, place cards, napkins, personalized wedding party gifts, etc. that reflect your unique personality.  This will be much more impressive than expensive alternatives.  Don’t forget hat this day is about you and your future spouse.   Create an experience that shares the best of the two of you with your guests.
